Clark’s Burn Center T-Shirt Sale

The Clark Burn Center will be having a long sleeve t-shirt sale on December 11th from 6:30 AM – 2 PM on the 2nd floor by the elevators. Cost of the shirts are $20 each or 2 for $35. This year we are doing long sleeve crew neck, Navy Heather. Profits will support patients and families with burn injuries. Supplies are limited this year so make sure to see us early!

Congratulations to the 6I MICU!

The MICU was recently awarded the AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses)<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.linkedin.com/company/aacn/__;!!GobTDDpD7A!Oy_1TLmfVnzXfOBDgsw8bJrQT1IxErzCkFZqZdeIB9KBErwy0KcTsftkRnYXhnM7DObYyAGIJNwxyPjR3N981XJNMLhWqQ$ > Gold Beacon award! This is our first Beacon unit and this team is so deserving of this recognition of their truly inspiring work. There are 576 Beacon units and only 198 Gold level nationwide. According to AACN “For patients and their families, the Beacon Award signifies exceptional care in a unit that puts patients first. For nurses, this award can mean a positive and supportive work environment with greater collaboration, higher morale and lower turnover.”
