Stop the Bleed's Free Public Courses
Upstate Trauma will offer free Stop the Bleed courses on Wednesday, April 30th, from 5 to 6 p.m. And Wednesday, June 25th , from 11a.m.-12 p.m. at Upstate HealthLink/Oasis, 6333 NY-298, E. Syracuse. Upstate’s Nursing Research and Innovation Council is pleased to announce the 1st annual Nursing Research month in June. The council is  seeking Research or Evidenced Based Practice posters to display throughout the Month on June, 2025. Deadline for poster submission May16th, 2025. Trauma Fest 2025 on Wednesday, May 21st from 10AM–2PM on Elizabeth-Blackwell Street—a special day that also marks National Trauma Survivors’ Day.
This internal appreciation event celebrates all who provide outstanding trauma care. Join us for food, fun, and festivities featuring AMR, Syracuse Fire, University Police, air medical services, our trauma partners, PB&J’s and Christiano’s Kitchen food trucks, and more.
Pick up a passport at the Adult Trauma Table, visit each table, and participate to be entered to win a YETI Rolling Cooler & Mug!
Upstate Trauma's Annual T-Shirt Sale
T-Shirts will be sold on Tuesday, May 13th outside of the cafeteria (2nd Floor) at University Hospital from 6:30AM-4:30PM.
The shirts will be $20 for both Crew and V-necks. Cash, Check or Card will be accepted. Small-4XL will be available in both options.
No pre-orders will be accepted.
All remaining shirts will be sold at TraumaFest on Wednesday, May 21st outside on Elizabeth-Blackwell St.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 – 2026 Mentoring Program.  This is a one-year program beginning July 1st with the expectation of Mentors & Mentees meeting monthly.

Nursing Micro credential program:  RN’s wishing to advance their career by becoming a nurse manager someday should take advantage of the Learning to Lead for Nurse Manager Succession program.  Information regarding this program can be found at
