Due to a limited inventory of CADD pumps, we ask for your support in ensuring these devices are available for patients who need them most.
Ordering CADD Pumps

  * A CADD pump should only be ordered when there is an immediate patient need.
  * Please avoid ordering or holding pumps "just in case," as this limits availability for other patients.
Returning CADD Pumps

  * Once a patient no longer requires a CADD pump, the pump must be placed in your soiled utility room.
  * The Central Equipment Services (CES) team will collect the pump from the soiled room for cleaning and decontamination before it is returned to inventory and issued to another patient in need.
Required Process for Soiled Equipment Return and Cleaning/Decontaminating

  * All equipment issued from Central Equipment Services must be returned to the soiled room after use.
  * CES follows strict, detailed, and time-intensive cleaning and decontamination protocols to ensure patient safety.
  * To ensure patient safety, a quick wipe with a PDI wipe is not sufficient and does not meet required cleaning and decontamination standards between patient use.
Your partnership in following these processes is essential to:

  * Maintaining safe and compliant equipment use
  * Ensuring timely access to CADD pumps for patients
  * Supporting efficient equipment turnaround across all units
Thank you
