Upstate Trauma will offer a free Stop the Bleed training June 5th, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the Nappi Wellness Institute. This certificate-bearing course is free and open to Upstate Staff, Faculty, and Students.

Upstate is Celebrating National Women's Health Week (May 10-16)!
Women's Health Tabling events will occur on May 12th from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. (Downtown 2nd floor) and May 14th from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Community Employee Entrance).
Upstate Family Birth Center and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy will share a variety of Women's Health Education topics at the tables. Upstate Family Birth Center Limited Edition T-Shirts and sweatshirts will also be on sale, proceeds will go to the Upstate Foundation, Upstate Best Beginnings Health Education Fund, and the Upstate Foundation Cathy Patrick Breastfeeding Education Fund.

The Upstate Trauma Department warmly invites staff to attend our first annual Trauma Survivors Day, held in honor of National Trauma Survivors Day.
This meaningful event celebrates trauma survivors and their caregivers while highlighting the journey of recovery and the support services available. Former trauma patients, staff and their families will gather to share in a day of resilience, healing, and community.
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, May 20th
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Kinney Performing Center, 11th Floor, Golisano Children’s Hospital
Beginning at 11:30 a.m., former trauma survivors will share their personal recovery stories. Guests can enjoy light refreshments, take part in card-making for current hospitalized trauma patients, and enter a free drawing for donated gift baskets.
This event is open to trauma survivors, their families, and Upstate staff.
