Dear Colleagues,

As we embark upon the New Year, I wish to express my gratitude to our academic community for your valuable contributions, active engagement, and steadfast participation in our continuing education programs.

Over the past year, we have been privileged to host 25 Grand Rounds presentations and to continue learning from distinguished speakers at our Psychopharmacology Rounds. We also had the honor of organizing the 30th Annual Psychopharmacology Conference led by Dr. Schwartz and expanded our 2nd Annual Research Day to include oral presentations alongside poster presentations.

These achievements would not have been possible without the invaluable support of our department, including our dedicated trainees and administrative staff, our exceptional faculty, and our renowned speakers.

This past year marked significant milestones for our department. We received approval from the New York State Department of Education to sponsor continuing education credits for psychologists and LMHCs. We also welcomed Ms. Pamela Le as our Educational Coordinator, who has assumed coordination of Grand Rounds from Ms. Marcy Guzik. We extend our deepest appreciation to Ms. Guzik for her exemplary service as Grand Rounds Coordinator over the past four years. Her dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm have been instrumental to our success, and we look forward to supporting her continued growth in her role as Associate Psychiatry Residency Program Manager.

Looking ahead to 2026, please find attached the Grand Rounds and Psychopharmacology Rounds schedule for January through July. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our programming, you will now receive calendar invitations for all presentations. Please note that Psychopharmacology Rounds will transition to an online format, taking place on the second Wednesday of each month at noon via Zoom. We encourage you to help us strengthen our continuing education programs by completing evaluations regularly.

In closing, we look forward to another year of learning and growing together. Wishing you and yours a healthy, joyful, and fulfilling 2026.
