Pt is a 45 year old female with a history of asthma who presents feeling unwell. She is tachycardic, has mild hypokalemia, and a mild lactic acidosis. HR 130, BP 113/70, RR 18, Sat 95%
Case 2
Pt isa 74 year old male who presents to the ED with vomiting and diarrhea after eating mushrooms from his lawn yesterday evening. Vitals are normal
Case 3
Pt is a 32 yo F who presents unresponsive. She is well known to the hospital for her polysubstance use disorder. She has been there for 4 hrs without improvement. The doc orders labs to broaden the differential and PCC is called with the results. Vitals on arrival BP 121/51, HR 92, RR 16, Sat 96% RA
