 We will be putting more time on the papers this week, less time on the cases. Please everyone be ready to discuss the articles​

  1.  Patient presents at a VERY small outside hospital after reportedly ingesting 400 tablets of aspirin about 1 hr prior to arrival. Initial vitals are stable. What is your plan
  2.  Patient is a 32 yo F who presented to a hospital with decreased mental status. She has known hx of substance use disorder. However, after 4 hrs, she is not improving and actually seems to be getting worse. The workup is broadened...
  3.  2 workers at a leather tanning factory collapse while adding chemicals to a vat of hides. A third worker collapses pulling the two workers out of the room. Two of the workers awaken outside, the third is intubated by EMS. All three are now at the hospital.
