According to the practice guideline I found (attached)
Screening should start 10-20 years after caustic ingestion and then should occur every 3-4 years
Caustic injury Patients who have sustained a caustic injury of the esophagus are at increased risk of the development of esophageal cancer compared with the general population. A history of a caustic injury is evident in 1% to 4% of all esophageal cancers,86-88 but no histologic predominance (ESC vs EAC) has been reported.
