There will be a Medical Air equipment shutdown on Wednesday February 10 in University Hospital. There will be no house medical air available for use. Emergency ER or OR cases should remain or be sent to East Wing until the work is complete. Otherwise compressed medical air bottles should be used as you may have done in the past. You will receive medical air alarms at this time on your Medical gas panels in your areas. The anticipated time will be from 4am to 8am for work and certification, then we should be back on our regular medical air compressors.

It is only the old section of the building that is affected. The following are not. East Wing 2 through 12th floors, Cancer Center, Gamma Knife.

This again only affects medical air, not oxygen or vacuum systems.

For any questions please contact Mark Rioux in Physical Plant HVAC. Cell is 315-439-2521 and office is 315-464-1421
