Good morning,

The Hyperbaric / Wound Care expansion and renovation project requires a shutdown of air handlers BL-33 & BL-6 to facilitate the transition to the new air handler serving UH 1 West. Air Handler BL-33 will be shutdown starting at 16:00 hours on June 1st. The BL-33 shutdown will last until approximately 22:00 hours on June 1st  BL-6 will also be shutdown starting at 17:00 hours on June 1st. These air handling units serving AP1, Hyperbaric /Wound Care, UH West basement and UH 1W will be down at various times from 15:00 hours on Friday June 2nd throughout the weekend until midday Sunday June 4th .  Please expect higher than normal noise levels during the demolition phase of the existing ductwork which will commence at 16:00 hours on June 1st .

The area impacted by the BL-33 shutdown is AP1.

The areas impacted by the shutdown of BL-6 are Hyperbaric, Wound Care, 1W basement, 1W first floor excluding ODS.

The clinical staff in the impacted areas have been coordinate with.
