RE-TEST OF ANNUAL ELEVATOR EMERGENCY  POWER  TEST FOR:

University Hospital



TO:                  University Hospital



Annual emergency power operations test UH elevator banks1-8 (Gold, Silver, and service elevators).  This is a re-test from the original test last week.



Today’s Date: November 15, 2023



Testing Date:  November 17, 2023


Annual Elevator emergency power operations test Friday November 17, 2023, from 5:30 am to 6:30 am



We will be conducting annualemergency power testingon elevators 1-8 in the main hospital (silver, gold and serviceelevators) on  Friday, November 17, 2023, from5:30 am to 6:30 am.



 What to expect during this test



      •         Elevator operation could stop and will start back up after a few seconds.

•          Elevators will operateat a slower speed so it may appear it is not operating.

•         During this time some elevators will be out of service. If an unforeseen issue occurs KONE will be on site to assist.

This test will only affect UH elevators 1-8. All other buildings will not be affected.

The Nursing Supervisor will be informed at the beginning of the test and at completion of testing.
