[UHCampus] East Garage and drop-off circle closure / Thursday, April 1st / 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

As part of the Emergency Department Way Finding project. UMU Design and Construction has a crane truck scheduled to install new signage on Thursday, April 1st we will be installing new signage to direct traffic to the Emergency Department entrance. This work will take place in two locations. The first will be the Sarah Loguen Street entrance to the East Garage (the corner of Sarah Loguen St. and East Adams St.) will be closed. The second will be at East Adams' intersection and on the drop-off circle adjacent to the Pedestrian Bridge. Please see the plan below for all work locations.

Schedule of Crane: On Thursday, April 1st, 2021.
The Crane will be on-site by 9 am.
The Crane will be set up from 9 am until 10 am.
The Crane will be in use until 4 pm.

Description of work requiring Crane: A crane truck will be used to install new signage on the East Garage and Pedestrian Bridge.

Closures / Restrictions due to the Crane work on dates 4/1: Due to the crane lift, we will need to divert pedestrian traffic from the east side of Sarah Loguen Street to the west side of Sarah Loguen street so that the signs can be installed on the corner of the east garage. This work will close the Sarah Loguen Street entrance to the East Garage for the duration of the work. The second area of work will be at the Pedestrian Bridge. Pedestrian traffic can walk under the bridge and through it, the work will be the face of the bridge at the intersection of the East Adams street and the drop-off circle. The work area will be cone off to prevent Pedestrians from entering the work area.
