[util] Planned Power Outage – Elizabeth Blackwell Street Buildings (January 10, 2026)

Dear Team,
To support the Weiskotten Power Upgrade Project, all buildings located on Elizabeth Blackwell Street will experience a planned power outage on January 10, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Normal power will not be available during this time.
Clark Hall, the Campus Activities Building, and Jacobsen Hall will be supplied by emergency power only. This includes red outlets and exit/stairwell lighting. Heating systems, general office and hallway lighting, and air-handling equipment will not be operational during the outage. Fire protection systems will continue to function normally.
Physical Plant staff will actively monitor emergency generators, building temperatures, and the restoration of equipment following completion of the work. If forecasted temperatures pose a risk of freezing conditions within the buildings, the outage will be postponed. In that event, the work will be rescheduled for January 17, 2026, and an updated notification will be distributed.
