Electrical Power Interruptions Notice for East Wing, East Tower, Weiskotten Hall, Weiskotten Hall Addition, NAB, Silverman, Setnor University Hospital and Medical Library, CWB & Gamma Knife

TO:                 All Departments with Space in the above listed buildings
FROM:           Marc Dingle, Electrical Facilities Manager
SUBJECT:      Electric Power Interruptions for the above listed buildings
TODAY’S DATE:  July 21, 2025
DATE(S) OF INTERRUPTION: July 26, 2025 5am - 7am and 7pm & 9pm

In order to perform preventive maintenance on our 35kv ASH 24 Feeder, Banks 2 & 4. All buildings mentioned above will be affected for a brief time.
You will receive another notice if this work is cancelled.

This is what you can expect to happen between 5:00 a.m. and 7 a.m. AND 7 p.m. & 9 p.m. July 26th, 2025.
NOTE: Switching back may occur earlier. Dependent on contractors.
Weiskotten Hall Addition, Setnor, NAB, Silverman and Medical Library; between the hours of 5am and 7am, Saturday normal power (non-red) outlets will see a blip in power while we switch. Critical equipment will need to be plugged into the red emergency power outlets. The elevators in WHA will also be offline until switching is completed each time. Between 5 and 7 am and 7 and 9 p.m. the buildings will see a blip in power while we switch back.
East Wing, East Tower; between the hours of 5 am and 7 am. Saturday, normal power (non-red) outlets will see a blip while we switch. Critical equipment will need to be plugged into the red emergency power outlets. MRI #1 and the Toshiba ED CT will need to be offline during switching in EW.
 - Only EW ORs 4, 6, 7, 9 & 13 should be used prior and during EW switching. After switching is complete All ORs will be able to be used
 - Saturday evening after work is complete, the buildings will be seeing a blip between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. While we switch back. If we are not able to perform switching due      to activities going on in the building, we will do switching on Monday morning. June 30, 2025, between 5 and 7 am.
University Hospital, Weiskotten Hall, & Computer Warehouse Building (CWB)
·         Between the hours of 5 am and 7 am. Saturday, normal power (non-red) outlets will see a blip while we perform end of day switching. Critical equipment will need to be plugged into the red emergency power outlets.
All other campus buildings (Cancer Center, IHP & IHP Expansion, etc.) are not affected.
