Planned Normal Power Shutdown – WHA 4th & 5th Floors
To Support:
A planned electrical feeder changeover from the temporary feeder to the new permanent feeder will be performed.
Please review the details below:

Thursday, July 30
Time(s):
6:30 AM – Approximately 2:30 PM (8 hours)
Location:
WHA – 4th & 5th Floors
Affected Areas / Equipment (Room, Equipment I.D., etc.):

  *   All areas on the 4th and 5th floors are included as a precaution.
  *   Equipment plugged into brown or white electrical outlets will lose power during the outage.

Impact (What will be interrupted, what will remain operational):

  *   Normal electrical power will be interrupted on the 4th and 5th floors while the electrical contractor changes the temporary feeder to the new permanent feeder.
  *   Emergency power will NOT be affected.
  *   Equipment requiring power during the outage must be plugged into red emergency power outlets.
  *   The outage is expected to begin at approximately 6:30 AM and last about 8 hours.

Note:
This work has been coordinated to minimize disruption. Personnel should ensure any critical equipment is connected to emergency (red) outlets prior to the outage.
