Dear Upstate Women Faculty,


Upstate, through Dr. Botash in the Office of Faculty Affairs, is
working toward eliminating the gender gap with regard to women faculty.
Our Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development is launching an
eMentoring program to provide practical and real-time support for women
faculty at Upstate, to supplement other face-to-face programming and to
reach those who are not able to find the time to participate in live
programming. Upstate Academic Women*s e-Mentoring (UWe) will include:
	*  Minute Mentor Series a webinar platform for informal
discussion opportunities on topics of interest to women in academics
	*  Facebook page (Upstate E-Mentoring for Women in Academics)
	*  #UpstateAcademicWomen

 The first web-based session in the Minute Mentor Series will be held
on Monday, July 22nd at noon. You can participate at any location from a
computer!

Demystifying the Educator Portfolio: Your unique Career Tool, will be
presented by Ann Botash, MD and Elizabeth Nelsen, MD, MS

Objectives:
Establish habits for building your Educator Portfolio
Analyze educator portfolios for significant information
Apply a checklist tool for reviewing your own Educator Portfolio
