Volunteer Patients Needed
The Physical Therapy Education Department is recruiting volunteer patients for an in-class activity with our second-year physical therapy doctoral students. Individuals who have orthopedic related problems at any body part (such as the neck, back, shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, foot, hand etc.) are eligible. These problems may include pain, joint stiffness, or weakness, that leads to difficulty with daily activities.
Volunteers will be seen for 2 visits including an examination and treatment. The sessions will be performed by a small group of second-year physical therapy students, under the supervision of professors. This will occur on 4/1 and 4/8, starting at 8:15 AM and lasting to approximately 9:30 am. It will be held in the SUNY Upstate physical therapy classroom (3334), which is located on the third floor of the Academic Building.
Feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone who may be interested in volunteering.
Contact me if you would like to participate or if you have any questions.
Thank you,
