Dear Friends of the Women of the University Community:
 
As October begins, we would traditionally be gearing up for our Annual
Poinsettia Sale,  our biggest fundraiser for our three endowed
scholarships: The Mildred Eggers, Ruth Tolley & Beverly Whaley
Scholarship Funds
 
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, changes in academic
calendars and above all else, the safety and well-being of our
volunteers and you, our wonderful supporters, we are not able to safely
hold a Poinsettia sale. HOWEVER, we have found a wonderful, safe and
contactless alternative which will be convenient for you, your
colleagues, family and friends.
 
We are partnering with Flower Power Fundraising to sell beautiful
Amaryllis (in 6 colors) and Paperwhite Kits. Each kit arrives in a
vintage burlap bag and includes a bulb, soil disc, pot and decorative
gift tag. After planting, bulbs bloom in 4-8 weeks to be enjoyed during
the holidays & months to come. A wonderful gift or addition to your home
or office, or maybe that*s both. 

The WUC automatically receives 50% of all plant sales which will go
directly to our scholarship funds.

Best of all, this sale can reach well beyond our academic campuses and
local community. Please share this information & the attached Flyer with
family & friends near and far. We will automatically receive credit for
the sale in support of our scholars. 

Pricing: Individual bulbs are $22. Value kit (3 bulbs) $58. 
There is a flat shipping fee of $6, for each delivery address no matter
how many plants ordered to that address. Plants will be shipped
directly.
