Hello All –

I am writing to announce next week’s 3/9/22 Grand Rounds invited Lecturer - Melanie Cree Green, MD, PhD. Dr. Green is an Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology, Department of Pediatrics at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus / Children’s Hospital Colorado. She has extensive clinical, educational and research experience. This includes institutional, regional and national speaking engagements, leadership positions, and numerous publications. Her specific areas of focus include insulin resistance as related to liver health and the reproductive access. She also has expertise in issues related to women’s health and the health of women in medicine.



We are thrilled to have her join us next week to deliver her talk titled “Improving women’s health: Career, Family and Female Conditions” which will address the effect of parenting during residence, the role of peer support in academic medicine, and treatment and research limitations in female only conditions. Her talk will be preceded by our PL3 warmup speaker Dr. Reena Ray Garg.
