The WIMS Book Club met this week and had a wonderful discussion on our first book "The First Ladies" by Marie Benedict & Victoria Christopher Murray.  There were nine of us in attendance and we laughed, toasted and talked - it was wonderful to be together.

Below is our schedule and books for the first half of the year.  We will send reminders prior to the dates for specific locations - we will gather at 5:30 pm at Deb Herman's house (251 Brattle Rd) for all gatherings unless otherwise noted.  Mark your calendars and start reading!

January 22, 2024 - "Demon Copperhead" by Barbara Kingsolver.  Historical fiction novel - 560 pages.
March 18, 2024 - "The Violin Conspiracy" by Brendan Slocumb.  A deeply personal work of fiction - 353 pages.
May 6, 2024 - "Indigo Girl" by Natasha Boyd.  Historical fiction based on real life agriculturist, Eliza Lucas - 319 pages.
June 10, 2024 - "Pandora's Lab: Seven Stories of Science Gone Wrong" by Paul Offit, MD - 277 pages.
