There were 8 of us in attendance on Monday evening to discuss "The Violin Conspiracy" by   Brendan Slocumb.  We all thought the story was interesting although some of us liked the writing better than others.  It was interesting discussing the lack of diversity especially in classical music and the mentors in our lives who were instrumental in assisting us on our path.

Our next book is "The Indigo Girl" by Natasha Boyd. It takes place in 1739 and tells the story of a sixteen-year-old girl in Colonial South Carolina and how she defies all expectations to achieve her dream.

If you want to read ahead - we will meet one month later on 6/10/24 to discuss "Pandora's Lab:  Seven Stories of Science Gone Wrong" by Paul Offit, MD.  It is only 277 pages and is a quick read.

Please send ideas for fall books.  We already have one on our list:
"Eve:  How the Female Body Drove 200 Million Years of Human Evolution" by Cat Bohannon.
