[womeninmed] WIMS Book Club and beyond -- special event Nov 12!

Upstate Health Sciences Library is presenting a book talk by author Robin Wall Kimmerer this Wednesday November 12 at 5pm in the Weiskotten Auditorium.

She’ll speak on "Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants.”

 The first 200 attendees will receive a copy of Braiding Sweetgrass (!)

It’s open only to Upstate ID holders. I asked the organizers, and if you’re on this listserv you can attend. (I think they lock the outer doors at five so you may need to badge in at the Hospital.)
