<p class="x_MsoNormal">There was a group of 10 who met to discuss "Demon Copperhead" by Barbara Kingslover on 1/22/24. It was a wonderful, in depth discussion of the book and author followed by sharing of current books we are reading and enjoying. The resounding
agreement was that Barbara Kingslover is a brilliant author who is sometimes difficult to read but is always worth it if you can get to the middle of the book without giving up!</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">The next book is "The Violin Conspiracy" by Brendan Slocumb. It is a mystery about a Black classical musician whose family heirloom violin is stolen on the eve of the most prestigious classical music competition in the world. </p>
