[board-unyoc] Welcome to a new year

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to 2019!
Just checking in with you to see where we're all at in our UNYOC stuff
/responsibilities/follow-up.  Here is what I'm aware of:

   1. Setting up a PayPal account and getting it working on the UNYOC
   website.
   2. Choosing and ordering membership pins with our new logo.
   3. Updating the procedure manual and sending updates to Deborah.
   4. Thinking about and even contacting potential speakers for Oct meeting.

Any assistance or support needed from me as Chair?

I have one speaker who has replied that he is very interested.  I will be
following up with him next week.  He has extensive user experience in the
academic setting and also has a really interesting activity he does to help
spur creativity in library services.  More details to follow.

For government relations, there is a Library Advocacy Day for New York
State on Wednesday, February 27 in Albany.  I plan to attend along with
several colleagues from my area.  If anyone is going, please let me know
and we can plan to meet there.
