Hi everyone,

I received this notification about a Wild Apricot security change – WA is adding 2-factor authentication. Anyone with Admin privileges will be required to have a phone number listed in their profile. Most, if not all of the Board members have some level of Admin privileges, so this probably means you!

Please make sure you have a phone number added to your WA profile by March 31, 2025. You should also take this time to verify your current contact info in your profile.

As PCI DSS 4 requirements come into effect on March 31, 2025, we are obliged to enforce mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for full and website admins working with WildApricot. This means you will be required to provide Two-Factor Authentication to access the Admin UI. What You Need To Do:

To ensure that you do not lose access to your WildApricot account:

  *   Verify your contact information: Please ensure that both your email and phone number are up-to-date in your profile. This is essential for receiving authentication codes.
  *   Set up your mobile phone in the system phone field: If not already done, please add your mobile number to the system phone field to enable secondary authentication.

Failure to provide a valid secondary authentication method by March 31, 2025 may result in losing access to your WildApricot account.

We strongly encourage you to verify your contact information and add your mobile phone number before March 31, 2025 to avoid any interruptions in accessing your WildApricot account.
