Hi!

Erin Keenan reached out to me about the listserv (UNYOC-L), which I am still managing. I do not believe it can be transferred to someone outside of UB. At one point, I thought the list might be moved to Wild Apricot. Does anyone know what the status of this is?

In terms of the vendor question, I found a copy of the UNYOC Procedure Manual<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/docs.google.com/document/d/1iNTE0ZDiYmifrBUhJ-yckgKv2HrX_x6C/edit?tab=t.0__;!!GobTDDpD7A!MdyiXsqGjRas930yiFlSPYvXgQaCeNTpAad9pY05RYZxfLmxqPMEePL_Gd8ZgSV64nLjbQP8SS_OEebfVjYz$>. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see anything about what can be shared on the list. Historically, we did not post vendor related messages. If a vendor becomes a member, technically any member can post on the list.

On a related note, I got requests from two people at VisualDx (Sigriet and Rachel), and they want to be added to the list. I am not sure if they are current members. Are they Erin?

My memory aligns with Liz’s statement that we don’t share membership lists, only the conference attendees and registered vendors.

I looked and didn’t even see anything on the website about the listserv – is that still up in the air with where it will be hosted?

This has com up so many times over the years! We always decide not to share, with the exception of conference attendees and registered vendors.

MLA right now is not making the member directory available due to concerns with the current administration.

I agree with Olivia, if we haven’t we should come up with guidelines/policy.

Mark Hyer from Third Iron (a vendor that has a library product for connecting to full text articles) purchased a UNYOC membership and is asking me for a membership list, presumably to promote Third Iron's product.

My understanding is that we don't provide member lists to vendors. I don't believe Third Iron is a library itself.
I'm not sure what would be the appropriate response to this, especially since he has purchased a UNYOC membership.

How would the board like me to respond to this?
