[board-unyoc] UNYOC Webmaster stuff: contacts

Thanks!
I must have misread the webpage on this because it's a bit kinder than I thought it was - I only needed to archive people to remove them from our 'contacts' limit, I didn't have to fully delete them.
I went and archived a number of contacts who I thought were vendors based on their email addresses, as well as some people whose last 'events' occurred in 2021 or 2022 according to the website. If any one of them was archived in error, they can be easily restored by filtering archived contacts in the 'simple search' portion of the contacts module, as described in the site I linked. I also fully deleted about 5 "test" contacts we had (I made a couple of those while troubleshooting things earlier this year, whoops).
We're now at 219 contacts out of a possible 250 - we might want to establish some sort of general rule about upkeep and removing old contacts. Sorry I didn't do this sooner, it never came up!

Hi Stephen,
Back when I showed you around WildApricot I noted that we were getting close to our contact limit - to get more than 250 contacts, we would need to pay more money for a bigger subscription, and that would not be good.
Back then I figured we wouldn't have to worry about it for a little while, but I checked today and it appears we've gotten a lot of new members and new contacts due to the conference — there's only 3 slots left to add, so I'm going to archive and delete some old contacts who haven't had activity for several years.
I really don't have much time to deal with anything at the moment so I'll just select a certain number to make room for anyone who's going to register for the conference or membership in the next few days, and I'll leave any further refinement.
This is something I've never had to deal with before, but I found an article about it here: Archiving and deleting contacts - WildApricot Help<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/151-archiving-and-deleting-contacts__;!!GobTDDpD7A!PaGM5KQENxNdrcagpe1U9wNGOn2yeDKZM95Pjspd2rTMnreAQKrnZKzkuo_y7Jb5vDqBXQ7m_H33nu1WaQP5PHBRrdq2VXn7Sgzcmg$>.
I'm cc'ing the rest of the board so they're aware of what's going on.
