[epicdown] Reminder: Lab System Downtime with Epic Downtime SUNDAY August 10, 2025 from 04:00 - 06:00

The Laboratory will participate in the planned Epic downtime on Sunday August 10, 2025, from 04:00AM-06:00AM.



The implementation of the Epic Beaker laboratory system module integrated the laboratory with the Epic enterprise system. The laboratory will participate and be impacted by all Epic downtimes and outages.



Please note the following impacts and guidance:

STAT laboratory results will be faxed.
  *
Critical laboratory results will be called.

  *
Point of Care (POC) testing will be available during this downtime; however, results will not be transmitted and be available in Epic until the downtime is complete.  Testing may require a Downtime Override for patient identification.  Please re-dock all POC instruments to ensure all results are filed to Epic after the downtime is complete.

For patients in Glucommander, access the Glucommander application through the Clinical Launchpad during this downtime. Enter blood glucose results manually into Glucommander for dose recommendations.
