All Providers:

Effective 10/11/2020: Providers will be able to quickly add an outside or internal infection to a patient's chart directly from the Storyboard<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https*3A*2F*2Fepic.upstate.edu*2Fdocuments*2Fintra*2Fprovider_adding_infections_from_the_storyboard_upstate_system_update_bulletin.pdf&data=02*7C01*7CRelfJ*40upstate.edu*7Cc5611e1681534045922108d86c44288c*7C5cf50a665e2641dd89f883cf73ffee98*7C0*7C0*7C637378387276496653&sdata=7MnLvEIXeiFLl1NEkjujRF*2F7h414LEIJg*2BfIuc82ALI*3D&reserved=0__;JSUlJSUlJSUlJSUlJSUlJSU!!GobTDDpD7A!fV9Y0Xg3H_KfLzJbe2ur9WJXB_nZR0WNid8n7BbyhqseAXfHQqfESiKWQfN6kRijJH6oVptMYR4$ >. When Care Everywhere is queried, Infection Status will now populate with outside infections, allowing Providers to add infections from an outside facility. Outside infections will be identified by the Care Everywhere symbol [cid:image001.jpg at 01D69E15.C858E860] <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://us-prod.asyncgw.teams.microsoft.com/v1/objects/0-eus-d16-08271c4c92424cfd8838477f04a2c219/views/imgo__;!!GobTDDpD7A!fV9Y0Xg3H_KfLzJbe2ur9WJXB_nZR0WNid8n7BbyhqseAXfHQqfESiKWQfN6kRijJH6oZEjwz3o$ > , and will need to be added to the patient's chart by the Provider.

There is also a new column available in Patient Lists that will allow you to quickly see which patients have outside infection documentation. Customize your My List<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https*3A*2F*2Fepic.upstate.edu*2Fdocuments*2Fintra*2Fcustomize_patient_list_to_pull_in_outside_information.pdf&data=02*7C01*7CRelfJ*40upstate.edu*7Cc5611e1681534045922108d86c44288c*7C5cf50a665e2641dd89f883cf73ffee98*7C0*7C0*7C637378387276496653&sdata=cRjzpyOqmvc1RBjKoxCDSdU9miEv31Zwc2Ucppc5gOM*3D&reserved=0__;JSUlJSUlJSUlJSUlJSUl!!GobTDDpD7A!fV9Y0Xg3H_KfLzJbe2ur9WJXB_nZR0WNid8n7BbyhqseAXfHQqfESiKWQfN6kRijJH6oX284o5w$ > by adding the column Outside Infections to identify those specific patients.
