[epicproviders] Effective 4/11/2022: Updates to the In Basket

[Epic - All Provider Staff]

Effective Monday April 11, 2022:  You will see two updates to the In Basket:


  1.  In Basket Out of Contact
The Out of Contact functionality of the In Basket now includes the ability to assign your In Basket messages to a Nurse Pool. You can now designate covering pools in the Out of Contact activity to share the responsibility of completing your In Basket work while you are away.

  1.  In Basket Message Expiration
The In Basket Messages from four folders will expire and be removed from the In Basket after one calendar year via an automatic system process.
In Basket Folders Impacted

  *   CC'd Charts
  *   Hospital ADT
  *   Addendum
  *   Media Manage
