Prescribing controlled medications with Imprivata ID- iOS Mobile Application Error

IMT has been notified that the most recent update to Imprivata ID Version 7.8, affecting Apple iOS devices, is causing an error for some users that results in un-enrolling the device.

Imprivata and Apple are working to resolve this issue and IMT will notify users when resolved.

Recommendations are to:

  1.  verify your Imprivata ID Version by: going to the app, select "features", settings, and Version is displayed.
  2.  turn off auto-updates to the Imprivata ID application on your iOS device.
  3.  not perform a manual update.


**IMPORTANT ** If you are experiencing issues with the use of the Imprivata ID application, call the Help Desk at 315-464-4115.  You likely will need to schedule an appointment to have your phone re-enrolled.
