[epicproviders] Inpatient Provider: Updates for Glucose Management Order Sets Effective December 15, 2025

Attention Inpatient Providers

Effective Monday, December 15, 2025: For greater patient care and effective ordering, order sets which formerly included sliding scale panels have been updated and the Insulin Sliding Scale IP Endocrinology order set is retiring.
The updated order sets will include directive verbiage to consider an Endocrinology consult or one of the following order sets for glucose management:

  *   Comprehensive Insulin Subcutaneous Regimen IP
  *   Glucommander Adult Insulin IV Drip IP
  *   Glucommander Adult Insulin SQ IP
