[epicproviders] Effective 5/4/2026: New Order for Patient to Perform Diabetes Management Tasks

Attention Inpatient Providers:

Effective May 4, 2026: A new order, Patient to Perform Diabetes Management Tasks (NUR151), is available to specify diabetes patient education needs for learning finger-stick glucose checks and insulin self-administration. This will populate tasks to appear on the Brain/Work List for nursing, ensuring that patients receive the education necessary for a safe discharge.
