[epicproviders] Effective 3/2/2026: MyChart Bedside Discharge Checklist

Inpatient Providers

Effective March 2, 2026: Patients may view a Discharge Checklist on their Bedside tablet or in the MyChart mobile app to see what items remain before discharge.

This checklist updates as the care team completes documentation in the discharge plan. The checklist will only appear once the first discharge milestone is complete - which is normally when the Discharge Order is placed. Prior to the first discharge milestone point, patients will not see the checklist at all.
