[epicproviders] Effective 6/10/2026: New infection Status

[Epic - All Provider Staff]

All Ambulatory, ED and Inpatient Nurses and Providers

Effective Wednesday, June 10, 2026, new infection statuses will be available in Epic for clinical documentation and isolation workflows.

The following infection statuses can now be added to a patient's chart by providers and nurses:
*        Shingles Localized
*        Shingles Disseminated
*        Gastrointestinal Rule-Out
*        Respiratory Rule-Out
*        Ectoparasite Rule-Out
