Attention: UH Inpatient Pediatric Providers

Effective Tuesday, October 13, 2026: Updates to the Pediatric Sickle Cell Admission IP Pediatric order set used by Peds providers at UH are unveiled. Reorganization yields consistency with Upstate order set templates and will streamline helpful guidance and individual sections for more effective and efficient use resulting in greater patient safety.
Changes include standard template sections, such as Labs, Nursing, etc., rather than subgroups. Featuring consolidated text details, updated medication selections, and systematized ordering workflow.
