[LabUpdates] Laboratory Formulary Committee Updates - Staph aureus MRSA PCR Test - Order Name Change

Medicine and laboratory testing are constantly changing.  The Laboratory Formulary Committee regularly sends out emails with new updates and changes.



Staph aureus MRSA PCR Test - Order Name Change:  Starting March 10, 2025, the Staph Aureus MRSA PCR; LAB9295 order will be renamed to Staph aureus MRSA/MSSA PCR; LAB9295.  This change is to clarify the analytes that are detected by this testing.  Please see the attached guidance for more details.
