[LabUpdates] Laboratory Formulary Committee Updates - iSTAT B-hCG Discontinuation

Medicine and laboratory testing are constantly changing.  The Laboratory Formulary Committee regularly sends out emails with new updates and changes.



iSTAT B-hCG Discontinuation:  Abbott is no longer producing the B-hCG cartridges for the iSTAT analyzer.  All samples for B-hCG should be sent to the core laboratory for testing.   Please see the attached guidance for more details.  Also attached are the guidances discussing B-hCG  testing sent out in July 2024.
