Dear colleagues,

Our condolences to you, Dr. Dhamoon. We are sending our love and support during this time.

Since there is no obligation to meeting tomorrow, I would like to adjust our meal order accordingly. Please let me know if you plan to still come. I know some of you would rather bask in the joy of cancelled plans and some of you have counted on eating with us tomorrow. If you still plan to meet, I will have food ready but I would like to know how many people to expect. Please reply individually (text 315-857-3746 or email) to let me know if you are coming tomorrow. We will simply gather and eat.

Dear colleagues,

I was looking forward to meeting with many of you tomorrow for individual meetings, capturing your smiling faces in a group photo, and sharing a meal with you. Unfortunately I have to rearrange my schedule because of a death in the family. I apologize for the last minute notice. We will reschedule our individual meetings and the group photograph, but the meal will go ahead. I look forward to connecting with you all soon.
