[mdphd] Welcome Dr. Ghosh!

Dear Colleagues,

I am very excited to welcome Auyon Ghosh, MD, MPH to the role of Assistant Director of the MD, PhD Program. Dr. Ghosh graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2014. He completed his internal medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center, his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and his MPH at the Harvard School of Public Health. He was recruited back to SUNY Upstate Medical University and now serves as assistant professor of medicine in the department of medicine. Dr. Ghosh is a physician scientist and is the first recipient of a K08 award in the Department of Medicine. Despite being an early-career scientist, he has published >60 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Ghosh has served on the MD, PhD admissions committee for the last two years. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Ghosh join us as Assistant Director of the MD, PhD program to support our amazing students.
