[mdphd] GWIS National Conference

Good afternoon,

The GWIS National Conference is being hosted by our local Syracuse chapter here at SUNY Upstate (NAB 4414 B/C/A). The e-board recently decided to waive the registration fee so it's now completely free to attend the conference. We are also still accepting abstracts for posters (many slots available) and 10-minute short talks (limited slots).

We are also hosting two invited speakers: Dr. Alison Patteson (Associate professor of Biophysics at Syracuse University) and Dr. Candice Paulsen (Assistant professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Yale University). There will be numerous panels featuring faculty and graduate students at Upstate as well.

We hope more students (including MD-PhDs) can make it!
