Dear Class of 2029,
Welcome back! We hope your spring break was full of rest, time with loved ones, or opportunities to recharge and do what brings you joy. Please refer to the updates and reminders below.


*IMPORTANT CNS UPDATES*
Recently, our class officers, along with MS2 and MS3 leadership, met with Dean Mihaila and other course faculty to discuss upcoming changes to our CNS course. To this email, we have attached a summary of student feedback along with the specific updates being implemented in response. Some of these changes will take effect immediately, while others will help shape the course for future classes. Please feel free to reach out to any of your class officers with questions or concerns.


DONOR GALA VOLUNTEERS 👗
The Upstate 2026 Anatomical Donor Gala will be held on April 18th this spring! Volunteers will also be required to attend one memorial rehearsal service beforehand. This is meant to be a powerful and meaningful event honoring the individuals who generously donated their bodies to medical education. We’re excited to invite students to help bring this evening together by volunteering as family escorts, assisting with memorial displays, or contributing through music performances for the families, artwork, poetry, or handwritten notes! Even if you are not volunteering, participation in the memorial service is encouraged for all students, as this is an incredible legacy here at Upstate.

💻 TECH OFFICE HOURS
Tech Rep Office Hours are on-demand (in-person or virtual) sessions to discuss tech-related questions or concerns, seek assistance with Anki or third-party access, or request recommendations for software and hardware.
