Upstate University Hospital will host a Virtual Healthcare Transformation Grand Rounds presentation on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from noon - 1:30 pm.

Dr. Guian McKee, Professor of Presidential Studies; Co-Director, Health Care Policy Project; Co-Chair, Presidential Recordings, Miller Center of Public Affairs, University of Virginia will present:

"Hospital City, Health Care Nation:  Hospital Costs, Capital, and the Potential for Transformation"

Dr. McKee is the author of Hospital City, Health Care Nation:  Race, Capital, and the Costs of American Health Care.  He is an expert on health care policy, Medicare, Medicaid, urban policy and industrial policy.  His research focuses on how federal policy, especially in the executive branch, plays out at the local level in American communities.
