The Community Giving Campaign:

Once a year, Upstate employees are offered an easy way to support the non-profit organizations we choose through the Community Giving Campaign. As healthcare workers, we do our best to meet the needs of patients and families while they are in our care. We know their needs extend beyond this though. With the increased costs of housing, medications, and food, people in our own community find themselves unable to meet their basic needs. Through the Community Giving Campaign Upstate employees support local agencies (of their choice) that provide services to those in need. Please consider giving $1 a pay period. Your gift to the Community Giving Campaign will make a difference to someone in need.

Learning to Lead Nurse Manager Succession

Includes all current classes required within the Learning to Lead track with the addition of 3 newly created, nursing specific, nursing classes. This track was designed to encourage RN’s to continue their career path into the Nurse Manager role and prepare them for success once in it! It does not guarantee promotion into the role. Completion would allow individuals to declare it on the internal application as a preferred qualification.

If you have already completed the Learning to Lead program, you may now gain this additional credential by completing the 3 additional courses, by June 30, 2024. The courses are being developed at this time and you will be notified once available for registration.

If you are currently in the Learning to Lead program, you may now switch to this track and continue to earn this new credential. Your time to complete will be extended by 6 months to do so.
