April's 12 Months of Magnet, The Countdown is On celebration Challenge is now OPEN!


"The Best of the Boards"

Prepare your unit for our site visit by creating a Magnet Board for your unit!

-Designate a bulletin board on your unit for Magnet information

-Include "The Big 3": RN engagement survey results, Nursing sensitive indicators, & Patient experience results

-Design a board that is informative, creative & highlights your unit

-Have FUN! Ask your managers & coworkers for help showcasing your unit

-Submit a photo of your board & unit name to Alissa Padilla via email, padillal at upstate.edu but 4/17, 11:59pm EST

*if your department has already prepared a board & submitted a photo to Alissa, you are all set! Your submission will be included in this months challenge.


Only 1 submission accepted per department!

(Talk to your team to see if someone has already submitted a photo before you do!)

-5 points given per submission

-25 points awarded to 1st place, 15 points awarded to 2nd place, 5 extra points awarded to 3rd place


Boards will be voted on based on:

-Most individualized unit examples of Magnet components

-Most informative

-Most creative!
