March is National Social Work Month:  The Social Work profession is an essential piece of the Upstate community that supports the diverse psychosocial needs of patients across the healthcare continuum.  Upstate employees over 75 Licensed Mastered Social Workers at Upstate University Hospital, Upstate Community Campus, Golisano Childrens Hospital and multiple ambulatory and specialty clinics.  The 2024 National Social Work Month theme is “Empowering Social Workers!  Inspiring action, leading change.”  Help celebrate the profession of social work by thanking an Upstate Social Worker in March!



Clinical inquiry encouraged!! Do you have an idea for a project or study and do not know where to start? Join us at open office hours to help develop your idea further.

With 3 quick actions you can be trained to save a life. The number 1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. That's why we want you to learn how to stop the bleed! This hybrid course is offered to clinical and non-clinical staff. Following the completion of the Brightspace modules, you can select a skills session and receive your course certificate.
