Dear Nursing Colleagues,

 It’s that time of year again when we invite our nursing staff to help recognize outstanding professionalism among our residents and fellows. We are currently seeking nominations for the Resident/Fellow Professionalism Award at Upstate.



This award honors a trainee who consistently demonstrates the highest level of professionalism in their interactions with nursing staff. The recipient should exemplify strong collaboration, mutual respect, and thoughtful communication, and be recognized for the professional and supportive manner in which they work alongside nurses in a variety of clinical situations.



If there is a resident or fellow who stands out to you in these areas, we encourage you to submit a nomination.



Please include the name of the resident or fellow and a brief description of why you believe they are deserving of this recognition.



Nominations can be emailed to ameeleg at upstate.edu<mailto:ameeleg at upstate.edu> and must be received by Friday, April 25, 2026.
