We’re kicking things off with TraumaFest on Tuesday, May 19, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM on Elizabeth Blackwell Street! Syracuse Fire Department, AMR, University Police, LifeNet, food trucks, and multiple departments from the hospital will all be in attendance and available to speak with you. This will be a great opportunity to connect with different teams throughout the community and hospital while enjoying food, fun activities, and learning about the trauma system. Attendees will also have the chance to win GCI rocking camping chairs, Owala water bottles, and much more!


We are also pleased to invite you to join us for the 1st Annual Trauma Survivors Day on May 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, Kinney Performance Center (11th floor). This event is designed to bring our community together to honor strength, resilience, and healing. It will serve as a welcoming space to reflect, connect, and support one another. Whether attending as a supporter, colleague, or advocate, all are encouraged to participate in this meaningful day. The program will include a trauma survivor panel, where individuals will share their personal journeys and experiences, along with provider speakers highlighting the importance and impact of trauma care. Additional activities will include opportunities for engagement, refreshments, and food generously donated by local restaurants, as well the opportunity to win chance baskets. We appreciate your support in promoting attendance and encourage leadership presence at this important event as we recognize the resilience of those we serve.
