University Hospital 5th floor elevator lobby



TO:                       All Departments with Space in the Hospital


SUBJECT:          Floor replacement 5th floor lobby Friday, July 7, 2023, 5:00 pm to Saturday July 8, 2023 at 10:00 am.

DATE:                  June 29, 2023



On Friday July 7th beginning at 5:00 pm we will be shutting down the area on the 5th floor in front of the gold elevators in order to replace the flooring. This work is anticipated to last until Saturday July 8th at 10:00 am.


This is what you can expect to happen from 5:00 pm on Friday into Saturday at 10:00 am:


  *   5:00 pm on Friday soft barriers will go up along with signage directing patients, visitors and staff.
  *   Gold elevators 3 through 6 will be shut off to the 5th floor only. All other floors will be accessible.
  *   Floor replacement will begin after barriers and signage is in place. Work to be completed by 10:00 am Saturday July 8th.
