[epicproviders] Effective Immediately: PRN Reasons In Pain Medication Orders

Emergency & Inpatient Providers

Effective Immediately: Providers using PRN frequencies, must enter a pain severity for the order using PRN reason boxes. The PRN Reasons are connected to the Nursing Pain Reassessment tasks. Use of the PRN Comment free text will cause a break in RN workflow for pain reassessment and is NOT proper workflow.
